Self-consumption Solar Calculator
Get your profitability study with accurate data
Drastic reduction of your electricity bill: By generating your own electricity, you reduce your dependence on the grid. Our users achieve savings of up to 70% on their monthly electricity bill. In addition, thanks to surplus compensation, the energy you produce and do not consume is fed back into the grid in exchange for discounts on your bill.
Profitability and Return on Investment (ROI): Solar energy offers a higher return than most financial products.
Revaluation of your property: A house with an installation of solar panels and a better energy certification increases its market value immediately. It is an investment that you will recover if you decide to sell your house.
Real and tangible sustainability: Decrease your carbon footprint from day one. An average installation avoids the emission of tons of CO2 per year, actively contributing to the fight against climate change and leaving a cleaner planet.
Frequently asked questions about photovoltaic installations
What are the real benefits of solar energy?
Solar energy goes far beyond being an ecological alternative; today it is the most efficient strategy to reduce fixed costs. At Energías Renovables HG we focus on self-consumption as a direct savings tool: you produce your own clean and free energy, drastically reducing dependence on the electricity grid. In addition, it is a silent technology, versatile in its installation and highly sustainable, since more than 90% of the materials of a panel are reusable.
Which solar panels offer the best performance?
To ensure cost-effectiveness, not all panels are suitable. The most efficient modules today are those using monocrystalline technology, capable of producing more energy even on cloudy days. In our installations, we prioritize quality certified by IEC standards (61215 and 61646), guaranteeing not only high electrical production, but also mechanical resistance and durability of more than 25 years.
How much does a solar panel installation cost?
The price of switching to self-consumption is not fixed, as it depends on the power and components (batteries, type of inverter). Generally, the investment for a house ranges from €2,000 to €10,000. However, thanks to Next Generation subsidies, income tax deductions and monthly savings on the bill, the real cost is considerably reduced, turning the initial expense into an investment that is quickly amortized.
How is the number of panels required calculated?
Correct sizing is the key to avoid overspending. It is not about filling the roof, but about adjusting the installation to your consumption curve and available space. Technically, we calculate how many modules are needed by dividing the target power by the unit power of the panel. In Energías Renovables HG we carry out this previous technical study to ensure that your installation is 100% optimized.
Do solar panels work on cloudy or rainy days?
Yes, absolutely. Solar panels work thanks to solar radiation, not heat. Even if it is cloudy, diffuse radiation still reaches the photovoltaic cells. Although the yield is lower than on a clear summer day, modern technology still produces electricity. In addition, rain is beneficial because it helps to clean the dust accumulated on the surface of the glass.
Do the installations require a lot of maintenance?
Maintenance is minimal and very economical. As there are no moving parts (like a motor), wear and tear is almost non-existent. Generally, it is enough to keep the panels clean (rain usually takes care of most of it) and to perform an annual preventive check to ensure that the wiring, supports and inverter are working at 100% of their performance.
