Maintenance services for photovoltaic installations

Maintenance and Cleaning of Solar Panels
At ENERGÍAS RENOVABLES HG, we offer a comprehensive maintenance service for photovoltaic installations designed to guarantee maximum performance, safety and durability of each system.
Our objective is to ensure that each installation operates under optimal conditions, minimizing production losses and extending the useful life of the equipment. To achieve this, we have a specialized technical team and use advanced diagnostic and control tools.

Recover 100% of your plant's performance by maximizing production and savings
It’s a technical fact that many people ignore: a dirty or improperly maintained installation can suffer efficiency losses of up to 20%. This means that you are wasting a fifth of the energy you should be generating and saving.
In our Levante area, the challenge is greater. Not only do we face dust; calima (mud rain) and sea saltpeter are silent enemies that adhere to the surface of the glass and corrode the components if not treated in time. Thinking that “rain washes it off” is a myth: it often only fixes the dirt further.
What do our services include?
Preventive maintenance
We perform periodic inspections to detect potential issues before they become major problems. This includes checking panels, inverters, structures and wiring.
Comprehensive inspection: Periodic review of panels, inverters and all wiring to ensure safety.
Professional cleaning: Washing of photovoltaic modules with specialized techniques to remove embedded dirt and maximize production.
Structural verification: Review of fastenings and anchorages to ensure wind stability.
Corrective maintenance
We act quickly and efficiently in the event of any breakdown, reducing the downtime of the installation to a minimum.
Expert repairs: Replacement and repair of defective components (inverters, optimizers, etc.).
Attention to breakdowns: Agile response to urgent failures that stop your production.
Technical resolution: Accurate diagnosis of electrical faults or unexplained production downtime.
Cleaning of photovoltaic modules
Dirt accumulation can significantly affect production. That’s why we perform professional cleaning to optimize energy efficiency.
Intelligent monitoring and control
We monitor the operation of the installation in real time to detect anomalies, production downtime or technical failures.
Continuous monitoring: Remote monitoring of plant performance in real time.
Alert System: Automatic detection of incidents before you realize it.
Detailed reports: We send you production and energy efficiency reports so you can see your real savings.
Technical reports
We prepare detailed reports after each intervention, providing clear information on the condition of the installation and recommendations for improvement.
Maintenance for existing installations
At ENERGÍAS RENOVABLES HG we also offer maintenance services for photovoltaic installations that have not been executed by our company. We analyze each system to ensure that it meets the necessary quality and safety standards, subsequently integrating it into our technical service.
In addition, we offer the possibility of accessing our telephone support service in case of incidents, for a one-time fee. In this way, the customer will be able to enjoy specialized technical support as if the installation had been carried out by our own team.

Frequently asked questions on cleaning and performance
My installation was not done by Energías Renovables HG, can I contract you?
Of course. We know that many installation companies have disappeared in recent years leaving “orphaned” customers. We perform an initial audit to verify the state of your installation (whoever installed it) and we assume its maintenance and cleaning from that moment on.
Can I clean the panels myself with a hose?
We do not recommend it. The tap water in our area (Alicante/Valencia) has a lot of lime, which dries leaving white spots that create shadows on the photovoltaic cells. In addition, the thermal shock (cold water on hot panel) can micro-crack the glass. We use osmosis water and special rotating brushes that do not scratch the surface, guaranteeing a perfect finish without residues.
It has rained mud (calima), is it urgent to clean them or do I wait until it rains?
Mud or haze rain is very damaging. Unlike normal dust, mud adheres and creates an opaque layer that can lower performance by more than 40%. If left too long, it can cause “hot spots” that irreversibly burn panel cells. We recommend immediate professional cleaning after such episodes.
How much money do I lose if I don't do maintenance?
Industry studies indicate that an installation without maintenance can lose between 15% and 25% of annual production due to dirt and small undetected electrical faults. The cost of maintenance is only paid for by the extra energy that you will recover after the overhaul.
Is maintenance mandatory to maintain the equipment warranty?
In most cases, yes. The manufacturers of panels and inverters usually require in their “small print” that demonstrable periodic revisions are made to cover failures under warranty. Our technical report serves as official proof before the manufacturer.
I have batteries installed, do you also check them?
Yes, batteries are the most expensive and delicate component. In our preventive maintenance we check the state of health (SOH), charge cycles, operating temperature and terminal tightening to avoid false contacts that can shorten their useful life.
What happens if my inverter fails and stops producing?
If you’ve signed up for our remote monitoring, we’ll probably know about it before you do. We’ll receive an automatic alert, diagnose whether it’s a network or equipment failure, and call you to coordinate a quick solution, minimizing the time you’re without power.
