Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of hiring an Official SunPower Installer?
When you choose Energías HG, you’re not just buying a solar panel—you’re also getting the Total Confidence Guarantee. As authorized distributors, we handle support directly with the manufacturer and certify that your installation meets SunPower’s strict quality standards. This ensures you have access to their industry-leading 30-year warranty with no fine print.
Why is the SunPower Performance 7 panel better than a conventional one?
This panel is designed for real-world use, not just for the lab. Thanks to its tile-type cells, it handles shading much better than traditional panels, producing more energy at sunrise and sunset . In addition, it is bifacial (it captures light from both sides) and its design Full Black blends elegantly into your roof.
What exactly does the 30-year warranty cover?
It is one of the most comprehensive warranties on the market. SunPower covers both the product (manufacturing defects) and the power output for 30 years. They guarantee that, after the first year, the panel will yield at least 99%, and that the annual degradation will not exceed 0.4%. This means you’ll have a guaranteed supply of energy for decades.
Will these panels withstand hailstorms or strong winds in the area?
Absolutely. SunPower Performance 7 panels are glass-to-glass encapsulated and designed to withstand extreme conditions. They have been tested to withstand impacts from hailstones up to 40 mm at a speed of 27.5 m/s and can withstand snow and wind loads far exceeding conventional standards.
